HOW TO RENT THE HALL
The Bayside Temperance Hall was built as a social hall to serve as a gathering place for the community in 1882. We continue this long-standing tradition by providing the Hall for community causes such as Neighborhood Watch meetings and renting the Hall for less than the usual venue rental rates.
The Hall has a small stage, plenty of tables and chairs, and is available during evening after-school hours, weekends, and summer months.
If you are interested in using the Hall or the grounds, contact us at baysidecorners@gmail.com. We will arrange for you to tour the main hall, stage, kitchen, and bathrooms.
The Temperance Hall’s capacity is 95. Please make sure that you have read and understand the following rental application, rental agreement, and required care and cleaning checklist.
4 Steps to Rent the Temperance Hall:
Carefully read the Rental Application and Cleaning Checklist. Contact baysidecorners@gmail.com with questions.
At least 2 weeks before your event, make your payment and deposit to hold your desired date. Your deposit will be returned promptly in-full if you clean up and leave no damages.
Email to baysidecorners@gmail.com the copy of your event insurance certificate. If you plan to sell alcohol, also email a copy of your ABC Permit.
Make sure you read and sign the Safety & Security Procedures.
Cost
Business Rate: $150/half day | $300 full day
Community/Non Profit/Education Rate: $75/half day | $150/full day
Event insurance is required.
$400 refundable Security Deposit required.
Availability
The Hall is available most evenings and weekends and throughout the summer for daytime hours on weekdays. Contact baysidecorners@gmail.com to check availability.
